A catch-all feature that is activated for a given email mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. To put it differently, if you remove an email address and somebody still sends an email to it, or to any mistyped address under the exact same domain, you’ll get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial in case you are running a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk email messages, you can combine the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software so as to receive only legitimate emails in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all email mailbox easily if you’ve got a website hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom Hepsia Control Panel is full-featured, yet surprisingly easy to work with, and it will enable you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be displayed alphabetically in this section and next to each one you’ll find a small "Catch-all" logo. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking on it again will deactivate it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will inform you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The in-house built Hepsia Control Panel that comes with each semi-dedicated server package that we are offering will allow you to set up a catch-all mailbox effortlessly even if you do not have much web/email hosting experience. All you have to do to achieve that is click on the catch-all icon, which will be to the right of each mailbox that you’ve created using your domain names in the Email Manager section of the Control Panel. As you can have only one mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will warn you if you’ve already set up another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding activated. If you decide that you don’t want this feature anymore, you can disable it by clicking once again on the exact same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
