In case you’ve only got a domain with By Catholics, and yet you also want to transfer your website(s) to our web hosting platform, you can just switch to any of our cloud hosting packages. Just go to the Upgrade Plan section of your Domain Control Panel and specify the package that you want to switch to. We will then enable all the available hosting features for you and you will be able to make full use of all the web site setup and administration tools that are integrated into the Control Panel.

All our hosting plans offer a drag–and–drop File Manager, webmail access, the possibility to create multiple MySQL databases and to examine in–depth traffic statistics, and much more, so all you need to take into consideration is the amount of system resources that you require for your sites.

At By Catholics, we grant you total control over your domain names’ DNS records. Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you’ll be able to update various types of DNS resource records for a chosen domain. For example, A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT records. To set a new record, simply choose a domain name and then specify the new value in the corresponding DNS resource record field. To update the DNS resource record – click on ’Modify’; to revert to the old value – click ’Revert’.

Through the GeoIP location tool, also included in the Custom DNS section, you will be able to show a certain language version of your site to people from a given region.

Working with our Domain Manager is very easy, no matter whether you have one or many domains to administer. Through its easy–to–work–with interface, you can select many domains at a time and renew them (for one or multiple years), change their name servers or change the WHOIS settings pertaining to them in an instant.

With the Wildcard functionality available in the Domain Manager, you’ll be able to make all the hosts that you have under a certain domain open the home page of your site.

This option can be rather useful when you want to use a multi–site application on your website, or if you need a certain sub–domain to redirect to the home page of your web site.

You can add a wildcard domain with a simple click of the mouse via the Control Panel–integrated Domain Manager interface. Just push the Add Host button located on the right and you’ll notice the Wildcard option at the bottom of the dialog box.

Our Domain Manager offers a large set of controls for administering all your domain names Via its easy–to–navigate interface, you can lock ’n’ unlock your domain, edit its DNS settings and your WHOIS data, set up an unlimited number of subdomains or initiate a domain transfer operation momentarily.

To save you time, the Domain Manager is integrated into the web hosting Control Panel. From there, you can even hide your domain registration info with the Whois Privacy Protection functionality and secure your e–shop with digital certificates.

When you register a new domain name, the WHOIS info pertaining to it, by default, becomes immediately available to the public eye. In the Domain Manager included in your Control Panel, you will find a WHOIS protection option that can help you mask your personal details by substituting them with our own contact details.

The WHOIS protection functionality is available with the majority of the domain names offered on our website: .com, .info, .biz, .net, .org, .co, .co.za, .me, .tv, .pro, .cc.

In case you own an e–commerce portal with an order form or a community–focused website that has a member’s login section, then you’ll need to buy an SSL certificate in order to protect these areas as well as to reassure your clients that their details are protected. To do this, you simply have to order an SSL certificate for a certain host via the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.

Simply press the Order SSL Certificate button, indicate the kind of certificate that you want – conventional or wildcard, and enter the necessary information. After that click the Order button and we’ll give you your certificate’s details.

The Domain Manager offers you the opportunity to address a specific audience on the basis of its country of origin. With our GeoIP redirection tool, you’ll be able to effortlessly redirect the visitors from a given geographic region to a particular section of your web site that is focused on their needs. For example, if you desire to build a French version of your site, you can easily create a subdomain fr.your–website.com and use the tool to point the people coming from France and from the French–speaking countries to this specific sub–domain.
